I suggest not getting light colored bands because they tend to discolor with time.

My orthodontist used to have clear-colored ones, and opaque colored bands.
The translucent (clearish) colored ones would fade from brushing and it was like I didn't have any on. So, I would go for clear blue if possible.
Otherwise, go crazy and do your school colors!!! |

Dont' get white-They can outwash your teeth and make them look yellower
Stay away from browns, but black is okay because it does make your teeth look white
Blues, greens and reds are good. You should get black and a teal color. |

kay so i have brown hair and eyes to..and iv had my braces on for like 3 years now its crazy...but theres like a hotblue color and it looks good with black...right now i have black and purple..always have the darker colour on the bottom though...but yeah i like black&pink, black&red, black&purple, blue&red(blue on bottom red on top), blue&pruple(blue on bottom), hotblue&limegreen, mix and match the colours its fun haha i always do but make sure the darker colour is on bottom...oh and lime green DOESNT make it look like you have food in your teeth just so you know..

well they let u pick out 2 colors if u want! i would do blue and pink or pink and green! but u can do 1 i would pink,green, or blue! good luck with braces!! |

I have always LOVED green braces. I've heard that you shouldn't get clear, however, because if you eat a food like mustard it will stain. No thank you!
P. S. I have brown hair and eyes, and it is my favorite clothes color. :-D I makes my eyes and hair look brighter. Or is that psychotic? Ha ha! |
