i don't exaclty know but just using backround info. i'd say that it's probably not harmful. if it's going on your braces which are in your mouth i'm sure that some of it has already got in your mouth with sylavia. |

Unless there is something physically wrong, such as you are vomiting or there is a burning sensation in your throat, nothing is wrong. Dont worry, youre fine. :) |

usually, you can just call any poison control center. can get the number off of almost anything..tooth paste tube..caugh syrup..stuff lke that...i think they keep records of stuff like that...so call or try a web site..good luck |

Your orthodonist wouldn't give you something to put in your mouth by yourself if it weren't safe to swallow. Why would you be allowed to have it on at night if it were dangerous? |

think about it, its made to be put in your mouth, and im sure when they made it, they made sure it was okay to swallow, i have never done it myself , but im sure lots of ppl have.

Your not going to get poisoned, think about it, its in your mouth and would be in your saliva and you would of died already.
Its not going to hurt you. Its wax....havent you ever ate wax candy? |

if it was poisonous they wouldn't let you put it in your mouth to cover sharp spots. It's a soft wax and completely digestible. Go have a glass of water. You'll be fine. |

you definetly won't die, I doubt you'll experience any side effects of it at all. Dentists wouldn't recommend putting it on your braces if they it could be toxic for you. My little brother ate wax once, off of those babybell cheese wheel things...nothing happened to him, and he was fine. |

Wax is nothing more than parafin. People used to chew it like gum. It will pass just like most everything else we swallow. But I wouldn't make a habit of it. |

Youll be fine. The whole dental industry is aware that things like that happen so everything pertaining to being treated teethwise is okay if you swallow it. Now Im not saying go around and swallow it all because its not preferred but if it happens by accident its okay. |

It's not gonna poison you. I have swallowed it by accident MANY times. Nothing is gonna happen. If this doesn't make you feel any better, call your ortho. and ask them. |
