Get Rid of Calluses

Calluses can be annoying. However, it is very easy to get rid of them.

Steps
  1. Go to the store, and buy a pumice stone. The pumice stone should be found in the health and beauty section of the department store.
  2. Soak the calluses. If they are on your feet, you could just take a shower, and they will be satisfactorily soaked.
  3. Take the pumice stone, and scrub your calluses with it. The calluses will start to scrub off. Be gentle, so as to not harm your skin. Rinse the pumice stone to make the particles of dead skin come out of its pores.
  4. Use lotion. Once you scrub the calluses away, use lotion to keep your skin soft.
  5. Buy a callus remover. This is like lotion but it is made to remove calluses. Rub it on your skin after you use a pumice stone.
  6. Take baths reguarly. Make sure to be in the tub long enough for your fingers to wrinkle. Scrub your fingers with a pumice stone.

Tips
  • If you are diabetic, take extra care in dealing with your corns and calluses. Skin injuries -- even minor ones -- could cause sores that are slow to heal and could lead to infection.

Warnings
  • Don't cut calluses at home. See a podiatrist instead.
