No, it won't get stuck in your throat.

And to put things into perspective, the acid in your stomach is powerful enough to dissolve an iron nail. Gum doesn't stand a chance. So ignore the old wives' tales about it getting stuck in your intestines.

You do not need to do anything, your body's natural process will break it down and pass it. Nothing to worry about!

Relax -- You will be fine. If it went down your throat you will be fine. There are alot of kids swallow their gum and they are ok. It will be fine !!

Mrs. Ackles
What is this your first time swallowing gum? I've done it like 2 dozen times and I'm still kickin'. Don't worry about it.

You should be fine. My son swallowed gum when he was really little, and no harm was done. If you're really worried, though, then eat a lot of roughage for the next day or so to help move the gum along through your digestive system. I'm talking about things like apples, vegetables, bran cereal, and other high-fiber foods.

NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT, THIS TOO SHALL PASS UNDIGESTED.
