here in the Philippines, if you have enough money to buy medicine, you may take ponstan 500 or gardan and a lot of pain relievers/mefenamic or gargle lukewarm water with salt. if symptoms persist consult your dentist

If you are at least 18 ,, ask a friend or relative for a vicodin or tylenol3,, the regular tylenol wont touch it!!! If its that bad,, go to the emergency room!! There is not a lot you can do at home....other than pain killers..

Either the ER or you can go to the grocery stores and get some oral pain reliever gels. You can apply the gel to your gum and it will numb it a little. Last time I used Orajel in addition to Tylenol, and the gel helped to dull the pain.

Sorry...you should have called a dentist earlier!

Does anyone in your family have any prescription painkillers? Make sure it is something you have taken before......you dont wanna have an allergic reaction. What I did was sleep on a heating pad. Prop your head above the level of your heart, this will stop the throbbing. Take some ibuprofen, because it will decrease inflammation. Thats all you can do until the morning. Unless someone can take you to the ER. They will give you some pain meds. Good luck. The tooth is infected...so if you have any antibiotics around, start them ASAP....otherwise the dentist will want you to take a round of them before pulling the tooth.

Clove oil! Get it from your grocery store!

If your pain is related to an abscessed tooth, (tooth is dead or dying)caused by deep decay, you can take 2 g. of antibiotics (4 (500 mg) tablets). Then take (500 mg) 4 times a day for 7 days. Antibiotics of choice, Penicillin, Amoxyl, or Keflex, Cipro. (Know your allergys) And call your dentist in the morning.

Have you tried a heat pack on your cheek?? This may give you some temporary relief.

Hope
I'm sorry! I know a toothache hurts very badly. Don't take anymore Tylenol until it's been 4 hours since your last dose and then only take two. It's not good for you to take more than the recommended dose. You might try ibuprofen instead when the Tylenol wears off because it will reduce inflammation. Also, try wetting a washcloth with water as hot as you can stand it and hold it to your cheek. Do you have any Orajel? Try that too. Hang in there, my sympathies are with you.
