Seek Professional Help for Inappropriate Sexual Fantasies

Everybody has inappropriate fantasies, but how do you get help for them? Too embarrassed to talk to your friends and/or family? Read on!

Steps
  1. Ask you doctor if he/she can tell you if there is a good psychologist/psychiatrist they know that you can consult. Remember, you don't have to say why you want to see one.
  2. If they point you in the right direction, great! Now all you need to do is just schedule an appointment or two (or however many the psychologist/psychiatrist says you need), and things will work out.
  3. If you can't find a psychologist/psychiatrist though your doctor, you'll simply have to ask your friends, family, or even consult the yellow pages for a good psychiatrist/psychologist.
  4. Repeat step number two.

Tips
  • Make sure that you're not just going through puberty, most kids think about that a lot at that stage.
  • Make sure the psychiatrist/psychologist you see is legit (an actual doctor). Being scammed is "not" fun.

Warnings
  • Don't expect a miraculous result. These things take time.
  • Don't start thinking less of yourself. You are who you are, and nothing can change that.
