Quitting smoking symptoms?
How long after i quit smoking will it be before i start like coughing and getting a sore throat from like the dead tissue being cleaned from my lungs and throat? I quit 2 weeks ago after 5 years. You might hack up some mucus too. Nothing too bad, you will be verrryy cranky.
The patch or the gum help a LOT with the symptoms and make it a lot easier.
Never heard of a sore throat or coughing that HAVE to happen, the sore throat did not happen to me. Some people dont cough or have a sore throat.

I quit 6 months ago after smoking a pack a day for the last 10+ years. I didn't notice extra coughing/sore throat but I was kinda used to those symptoms on a normal basis from smoking so much so I'm not sure The harder symptoms I faced were anxiety and headaches. Everyone's different, some people get more/less/different symptoms then others. Once you make it 3 days though, everything is downhill from there.

Symptoms usually take 10 day to be noticeable (ex: coughing,phlem,ect) it does last about 3-4 wks, but usually wears off. But the other symptoms (ex: irritability, cravings, moodiness, and headaches), can last for up to 2 months. If youre having trouble quitting, check out the new product champex, Ive heard nothing but good success stories from it ( Just a suggestion though, take only 0.5 mg to begin with if youre small)
