peppermint tea is one of the best natural tea to drink i just went threw the same thing when u make the tea dont add sugar add honey to coat the throat and squeeze lemon not lime it may taste a bit funny but it will coat it and it wont feel as bad 2 to 3 days of this and u will be back to normal

annie
This is not pleasant, but gargling with warm salt water will usually relieve the symptoms and ease the pain, but will not cure the problem if it is due to an infection. This time of year is terrible if it is due to allergies. If your symptoms do not get better soon, it's best to see a doctor, you may need an antibiotic.

GL, hope you feel better soon!

i have the same thing! i asked a Q about it last night and didnt get any helpful answers...my sore throat is waay deep into my neck. anyway, for me, musinex dosent seem to be working well either. the best thing ive found is...robitussin DM, nasal spray, and 3 to 4 advil every 4 to 6 hours for the pain. i also have been making a steam tent in my sink every hour or two. all these things seem to help the most, but i think its a matter of just waiting it out.
oh...also, drink alot of water.
get better soon ...

Sounds like post nasal drip....try some honey to relieve the sore throat. Also try a nasal spray. Be careful with them though, do not use them for more then 3 days!
