I thought Quasimoto had a hump on his back, not head. But, for seriousness, keep someting cold on it whenever you can. That's about the only thing you can do because your body needs to heal by itself. Take Tylenol, Aspirin, or any other pain killler for the pain.

apply ice to the area for 15 minutes three times a day. take some ibprofen or asprin as directed on bottle. if swelling gets worse, loss of vision, extreme pressure in head, loss of hearing or fever and chills consult dr. or if emergency go to E.R.

Apply a cold compress - cold wet face washer,or some ice wrapped in a towel, slightly moistened, for 20 minutes on, at least 20 off.
Do this for the first 24 - 36 hours after the injury. The cold helps reduce bleeding (bruising) and swelling. Then apply warm compresses to speed healing.
With any head injury, if you were knocked out or experience any of these - severe headaches, nausea, blurriness of your vision, any dizziness, ringing in the ears, unusual sleepiness, please see a doctor pronto - it could be more than just a bump.
