When I worked Oncology (years ago), there was a product that was a combination lidocaine (a local anesthetic) and aloe vera. It was discontinued some years ago, but you can make your own mixture of liquid lidocaine & aloe vera gel. I'm not sure if liquid lido is sold OTC but you can check on it. Talk to a Pharmacist for possible alternatives. I know it's a painful condition but this treatment was very effective for my patients. Good luck. I'd like to know how it works for you.

I used aloe vera gel 3-4 times a day on the burned spot,then at night my doctor told me to put on a product called,Aquaphor.You can buy it in any major drugstore.It's very greasy,so I where a over sized t-shirt to bed.Both of these have helped me very much.

There is a special burn cream your doctor can give you, sorry, but I don't remember the name of it. My father got some from his doctor after his radiation treatments. Over the counter creams don't help very much!
