What causes whites of your eye to turn yellow?
Please dont tell me Jaundice or Hepatitis I have chronic dry eye syndrome and my eyes are pretty red all the time when I used Vinsene the red does go away but then my eyes are a yellowish color... Im also a bit dehydrated could this cause the problem please help!
the only reasons for yelloeing of the sclera (whites of the eyes) is some sort of liver disease (jaundice), possible gall bladder problems, or a condition known as pinguecula which is degeneration of the eyes.
You did mention dry eyes a lot and redness of the eyes as well, if your eyes are blood shot often, the blood can turn your whites a little yellow as well.
Either way you should go to the dr to make sure there are no major internal problems causing the yellowing and also get your dry eyes checked out, there are better meds out there than Visine that can help that condition.

Jaundice---which is high bilirubin...can cause your skin to be yellowish too. Get your liver levels checked. If you are really yellow you may want to be checked tonight, especially if you are having other symptoms. Sorry you didnt want to hear jaundice but the Liver causes yellowing and the yellowing is from jaundice. If you dont like it consult a MD not yahoo answers.

The only thing that I can think of that would turn your eyes yellow and not be an increased amount of bilirubin in your blood would be that the eye drops might have a chemical in them that would do it. I once had a nasty scratch on my eye due to a patient of my clawing at my eyes. The drops made my scalera yellow. Try seeing your optometrist. He/she could help you.
