Best lenses for sunny conditions.?
Just would like to know the right type of lens to go for if you need to look at the sky line alot (crane op,clay pigeon shooter, pylons, pilot etc.)

Lori L O^O
Grey polarized. AR coating on the back surface, Double Gradient Mirror on the front.

Invest in some Raybans by B&L, I've used them for years. The lenses are optically prefect and the grey or brown tints do not distort colours too much.

I use Johnson Dailys and do not effect me when I'm out in the sunshine, however they are expensive, but I have used monthly's in the past and have found no different with regards to sunlight!

I'm saving my money to buy some Maui Jims. They were designed for people who are out on the water in bright sunlight - as in Maui. They're great - pricey, but you only get one set of eyes. I have Per Sol's now and am really happy with them. They were also expensive, but affordable.

there are lenses spceifically for this & some of them are:
Cooper Vision Actifresh 400 UV
Ciba Vision Precision UV

This site sells them & they had the best prices on my search:
http://www.getlenses.com/monthly.jsp

also these sites are good:
http://www.getlenses.com/contactlenses.html
http://www.sainsburyscontactlenses.co.uk/?WT.svl=POSPP1BUYCONTA

The best thing to do is contact them & ask them exactly what you're looking for & they'll give you the "proper" advice..I think maybe an optician can only give you a really correct answer..
(sorry if this was irrelevant to your question)
