well i know my best vision is when i have been wearing my contacts for a couple of days. Take them out wipe them back down and MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT ON BACKWARDS! and just let it go for a couple of days, if your vision is still not good, contact your eye care professional and check, you may have the wrong prescription!

Your eyes aren't used to something on them. And even the most breathable contact lenses still block oxygen flow to your corneas. So, typically, it does take about a week of wearing contacts before your eyes get used to them.

Also, your eyes can become a little more dry while wearing your contact lenses. Dry eyes can cause your vision to blur. If you notice that blinking seems to clear your vision momentarily, you could have mild dry eyes. Using Artifical Tears for Contact Lens Wearers (on the shelf at your local store), can help. You may just need them a couple times a day these first few weeks, and then as needed.

However, if your vision is still blurred after about a week, you should call your eye doctor. Maybe the contact lens prescription needs to be modified.

P.S. To clarify: unless your doctor specified otherwise, you shouldn't wear your lenses overnight.

If your wearing soft lenses, you might possibly have them inverted. The easiest way to check and see if they are turned backward is to take them out and place the contact on the tip of your finger. Look at your lense from above eye level so that your looking up at it. If the edges are turned outward, there will appear to be a 'lip', or edge that isn't rounded to the contour of the lense, then they are inverted. Simply turn them the right way and put back in. If the edges are curved and rounded with the shape of the lense, then they are not inverted.
If this is not the case, you might need to soak them in a protein removal solution.
Hope this helps!
