Tell when You Are Straining Your Eyes

Damaging in the future, strained eyes can deteriorate life in a unique way.....read this article to find out if you have been straining your eyes....

Steps
  1. Try to read something long distance. For example : Try to read a bus number when the bus in a certain distance away. If the number is blurred or hazy, it means you are straining your eyes.
  2. Place your index finger a certain distance from your eyes. Bring it slowly towards your nose, your eyes concentrating on the finger. Get someone to observe you doing this. If the eyes take a long time to cross as your finger comes closer to your nose, it means your eye muscles have spasm and your eyes are strained. The more relaxed your eyes are, the faster they should come together.
  3. If your eyes are extremely strained, the muscles will spasm to a great extent and the artificial number will be very high. You maybe be temporarily blind and need to get checked up by a doctor.

Tips
  • If your eye muscles are aching try closing your eyes with your palms gently pressing them for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • SLEEP MORE.
  • Wash your eyes with cool water every morning
  • Blink more....it might sound stupid but it helps. Your eyes are like your legs. If you stand all day, the muscles will ache. If you don't blink enough, your eye muscles will start aching.

Warnings
  • Reduce the amount of television you watch.
  • Ditto for the computer and reading
  • Sleep is important and reduced sleep makes the situation worse.
