No because they haven't actually banned smoking only in public places.
I mainly smoke at home anyway and when I'm out I'm glad to be outside away from the moaning non smokers, especially those who have just given up and are preaching about how perfect they are.

There's a ban on smoking?

I don't smoke anyway.

Nicotine dependence will prevent a person from smoking cessation. Breaking an addiction to nicotine can be very difficult, and many smokers have to make repeated attempts before they're successful.
Smokers wanting to quit or to temporarily abstain from smoking can use a variety of nicotine-containing tobacco substitutes, or nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) products to temporarily lessen the physical withdrawal symptoms, the most popular being nicotine gum and lozenges. Nicotine patches are also used for smoking cessation. Medications that do not contain nicotine can also be used, such as bupropion (Zyban or Wellbutrin) and varenicline (Chantix).

The smoking ban has been in place in Wales for a while now. It hasn't made me stop or even consider stopping. Most of us started yo smoke because it was a 'rebellion', someone told us not to. The ban has made it 'naughty' again and I probably smoke more now because of it.
