Want that fabulous tan, but you are an easy burner? Here's a short and easy guide to use your sun block properly. It sounds dumb, but may actually help. Steps
- Choose sunblock of SPF 30 or higher if you're going to the beach to tan for several hours, so you don't burn unnecessarily. Choose SPF 30 or lower if you plan to stay on the beach for up to 2 hours only.
- Apply sunblock to cover all parts of your body for an even skin tone, especially the neck line, stomach, the back, face, and shoulders.
- Have fun in the sun!
Tips
- Don't forget certain areas such as your ears, feet, and hands. You could get a very uncomfortable burn if you forget.
- Rub everything in properly. You don't want gross white marks.
- If you are a girl who always has her cover-up makeup on, check to make sure your cover-up has an SPF. If it does, usually there is no need for you to put sunblock over.
- Guys, follow the same instructions, but don't forget to get your hairlines on the back of your neck.
Warnings
- Make sure you buy waterproof sunblock if you're going swimming.
- The amounts given earlier might vary for different people.
