Take the Sting out of a Burn

This method will help you alleviate a burning sensation. Steps
- Make a paste from equal parts Aunt Jemima Syrup and Gold Medal All-Purpose Flour.
- Apply the paste to minor burns and cover with damp gauze for 10 minutes.
- Remove the gauze.
- Let the mix set on your burn without the gauze to get some air.
- Rinse the mix off with cool water.
- Cover with a bandage
Tips
- Aloe Vera is great for skin soothing. Apply the Aloe Vera after this treatment.
- Vitamin E, applied topically, will quickly stop the pain of a first or second degree burn. However, you should avoid using this treatment for third-degree burns.
- You can also rinse the mix off with cool water for 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the severity of the burn.
- Vinegar is a natural burn remedy, pour vinegar over burned area, it immediately takes the sting away, even works on sunburn!
