Soothe a Mosquito Bite

Dinner Bells Everyone's had their share of mosquito bites. There are the small ones you can resist itching. But of those big ones that you cannot ignore? There are many ways to seek relief, like itching, slapping, pushing/pressing or lightly punching the bite. However, none of these work, so read the article below to find out how to soothe your itchy, itchy mosquito bite.

Steps
  1. The amount of toothpaste you need depends on the size of the bite. A small one may only need a pea-sized amount. A big one would take a thumbnail-sized amount.
  2. Apply the toothpaste right on the bite and spread it around the bite.
  3. If the bite is visible to others (arm, ...), consider forming the toothpaste into a shape (diamond, triangle...) to resemble a tattoo.
  4. The toothpaste WILL dry and become crackly or crumbly. But don't remove the toothpaste as the bite will itch again.
  5. The toothpaste will eventually go off piece by piece by itself. If the bite is gone then feel free to wash off the remaining toothpaste.
  6. Now you have a great way to get rid of itching easily! Toothpaste has relieved many an itch from those nasty mosquitos! It may also soothe bee bites as well!

Tips
  • Consider decorating the toothpaste into a name.
  • Although most toothpastes have the same fighting action, "Aquafresh White & Shine" is recommended here.
  • Pass this on to others! Be helpful and teach them how to get rid of many a hated mosquito bites.
  • If you only want to use toothpaste for brushing, avoid getting bit in the first place!
  • Put on insect repellent.
  • Consider all natural or organic paste. Remember some of the paste will absorb into your skin and the less chemicals there are the better.

Warnings
  • If any irritation occurs, wash off the toothpaste immediately and let heal by itself. Use anything else that you know works but won't irritate your skin.
