Make a Homemade Heating Pad

This article will save you money by showing you how to create a homemade heating pad.

Steps
  1. Get a large tube sock. Ankle socks or crew sock won't work.
  2. Fill the tube sock with rice making sure that there is enough room left at the top to tie a knot.
  3. Heat sock up in microwave. It usually takes about 60-90 seconds.
  4. Place on back or wherever hurts!

Tips
  • Don't fill the sock up too much. You need to make sure you can tie it closed.
  • If you're not sure how long to heat it, just go in intervals. Start at 10 sec and work your way up.

Warnings
  • Don't heat it up too much. It can burn you.
  • You might want to put a washcloth or sheet between the sock and your skin.
