Can you wear contacts in the shower?
Can you wear contacts in the shower? I always feel its hard to wash my face well with them on. Do they fall out often? Or is it usually safe. I just got contacts a few weeks ago, so will I get more brave with them or used to them more where I can shower with them. Or is it not recommended.

(confusing post, sorry =/ )

i have contacts too so before you go in the shower use refresh tears (artificial ones ) and then go in if you dont then your eyes can get dry and they can fall out its still safe though but not in the pool!!!!

ladydeneice
Wash your face before putting contacts in and before getting in the shower. You can rub your contact out when washing your face but you can wear them in the shower.

Ummm....you can close your eyes. And, don't rub them. You should be fine.

you should never wear contacts the shower or bath tube. my eye doctor told me that if water gets in the contacts, bacteria from the water will start to build up and can cause eye infection.

Watch these two videos to learn more about taking care of your contacts:
