I am a complete klutz, and my drawer broke, and the front of it fell on my foot. This happened on Monday night. The edge of it hit me (and is fairly heavy) and hit my foot just below my big toe, on my metatarsal. I have brusing on that side of my foot, and when I've been on my feet all day I still have swelling. Its very tender to the touch. I'm wondering if I simply have a deep tissue bruise or if I bruised the bone. I just wanted to see if anyone else had similar experiences and if you would advise getting an x-ray or waiting it out a few more days.

Yes it could be broken, there are many little bones in the foot, but there isnt much they can do. Keep the foot in a supportive shoe and it will heal in time.

Umm... not a doctor so not 100% sure though you may want to get it checked out espeacially if it hurts to walk on....
