Yes. Im not good at explaining so bare with me. People with lighter skin colors, when they go outside and sit in the sun they absorb harmful uv rays. Derematologist recommeds the lighter your skin color the higher spf you have to use so they dont get burned and absorb hurmful rays. Dark skinned people, their skins dont absorb the harmful uv rays. They dont get skin damage by the sun. I dont know how to explain it very well i learn this in class long ago. Dark skin people are still at risk though.
