USE MOUTHWASH AND BRUSH YOUR TONGUE WHEN BRUSHING YOUR TEETH

Discovering it yourself will be the best thing. If others will let you know that you have bad breath, then it could be embarrassing. Sometimes it is very hard to accept the reality like in the case that another person will tell you that you have bad breath.

To combat bad breath you must first know what causes bad breath. It starts up from bad cavity. Try using the very effective all natural breath freshener, toothpaste, mouthwash - All in One! See this site http://www.oramd.com/bad-breath.htm and conquer the freshest breath you desire!

This is a bit gross and you can't really do it in public without anyone thinking you're slightly strange.. but lick the back of your hand, leave it to dry then have a sniff! Thats what I do sometimes if I want to know if my breath is a bit odoury! Where do you find the time to brush 8 times a day?! Blimey! If you're that conscious about it then avoid foods that have a strong odour like garlic, onions and spicy food. That way you can be reassured that it isnt your diet creating the problem! This is obviously affecting you alot so I recommend a visit to your dentist and maybe the hygienist to get your mouth in tip top condition!

Brushing your teeth 8 times a day isn't good for your teeth or gums, it will erode the enamel on your teeth and very possibly, depending on how you brush, cause gum erosion. You should only brush your teeth 3-4 times a day. If you're worried about your breath, use a tongue scraper and/or brush your tongue. Bacteria on your tongue can cause bad breath. Cup and sniff, doesn't work. Lick your hand and then smell it. That's a much better indicator, as I said bad breath generally originates from the tongue and saliva. If you Think (I stress think because it seems that you feel this is a problem although your friends have assured you that it's not) see a dentist. They can help you with halitosis (chronic bad breath, they can give you medicated mouth wash and teach you proper dental hygiene techniques. Good luck :)

You should put your hand over your mouth and nose and "blow." If you detect a bad odor, then you know. Brushing won't solve an underlying problem. Ask your doctor first what might be disturbing your system, he/she may run tests to determine this. Then onward to the dentist, if you need to go for any dental concerns. I wish you well. Peace, Love and God Bless.

MADISON,
FYI IT'S NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO DETECT YOUR OWN BAD BREATH.

WHY?

THIS HAS TO DO WITH YOUR SENSE OF SMELL WHERE YOUR OLFACTORY NERVES ARE INVOLVED AND THE WAY YOUR BRAIN PROCESSES THIS INFORMATION.
FOR EXAMPLE, YOU CAN OFTEN PERCEIVE THE BAD BREATH IN OTHERS.

WHY?

THESE SMELLS ARE NOT YOUR OWN BUT FROM SOMEONE ELSE.

BRUSHING 8 TIMES A DAY IS REDUNDANT. THE REASON FOR BRUSHING IS TO REMOVE SOFT STICKY DENTAL PLAQUE FROM THE TEETH AND GUMS.
AFTER EVERY MEAL IS IDEAL, BUT OFTEN IMPRACTICAL. TWICE A DAY, IS ADEQUATE.

Brushing your teeth 8 times a day is too much and will wear down your enamel. If you go to the dentist for your twice yearly cleaning, then you won't have bad breath from dirty teeth or gum disease. You should also check your tongue for plaque build-up by using a tongue scraper (available in any store, or use a spoon). The white stuff you get on the scraper is plaque, and that can cause icky breath. Your breath can just get stale throughout the day, though. You can check it by rubbing your finger on your tongue and smelling your finger; that's what your mouth smells like. A drink of cold water will wash away that staleness, or use a mint (sugar-free of course).

ask someone. Brother, sister, mom, dad, or a good friend. Someone who will be honest with you.

Sounds to me like you have an obsession with how your breath smells.

A few seeds of cardamom chewed for a brief while will clear your mouth of bad breath. Chew parsley leaves, which are sure to keep your breath fresh. More useful remedies at http://useinfo5.blogspot.com/
