First of all; I am a virgin: NEVER HAD SEX! But my boyfriend and I have done oral.

I've been dating him for about a year, and he has never been tested for STD's, but has no signs of any.

I have this white puss like substance on my tonsils/ in my throat. My glands are also a tiny bit swollen, and my throat is sore. It's been like this for two weeks or so.

I went to the doctor, they tested and it wasn't strep.

They said it could just be viral, however they didn't mention anything about an STD. People who know what they're talking about- what do you think?

You can get all of the STD's you have ever heard of including warts herpes trich Clap, Syphillis and more through oral sex and can pass the on too. See any web site on the net. It sounds a little like Thrush but I would get a culture swab done and TELL them you have been indulging in the Big Chew xx Well done in satisfying him

Have another culture taken. could be tonsilitis, or strep and the lab was wrong. labs make mistakes more and more every day.

Gonorrhea

If gonorrhea is not treated in women, it can progress to Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID). Pelvic inflammatory disease can make a woman infertile sometimes. There are other complications of pelvic inflammatory disease. In men, the inflammation of testicles, a painful problem, is seen. Anorectal gonorrhea may affect both the sexes because of anal sex. Eyes may get affected if touched by hand, and throat gets affected with the bacteria with oral contact. If the bacteria spread to other parts of the body through blood, many organs can be affected. So visit the Doctor as early as possible if you notice any symptoms of gonorrhea. All about Gonorrhea -

You can get syphilis in the mouth and throat. Wait a few days and if its not better go to doc again and tell him about the sexual experience. He can not tell anyone including your parents. Sheryl does not know what she talking about either because you can get an STD in your mouth

It's really rare to get STDs in the throat. It can happen, it's just not very common.

I would have your doctor give you a blood test and another swab test for strep throat. This happened to me a year ago, and I had a sore throat and huge inflamed tonsils. They couldn't figure out what was wrong for two months! FINALLY they realized it was abscesses in my throat, which they drained, but they came back! I ended up in the hospital for 4 days because I could hardly breathe my throat was so inflamed. About a month later I had my tonsils removed and haven't had problems since.

I would suggest going back to your doctor and maybe even have them recommend you to an ENT (ear nose and throat) specialist. I'm sure they have seen it before! Good luck!
