Momma to J Man
Blood clot question. PLEASE HELP, picture included?
ast night i went out for my birthday went dancing, and just ome girl fun. Well when i woke up today and the side of my left calf really hurts! im parnoid of blood clots, but i did the homans test, when I extend my leg out fully and bend my foot up it does not hurt, but when i have my foot on the floor and my knee at a 90 degree angle and pull up, it hurts like a *****. It just really hurts, and i get paranoid like i said of getting a blood clot. (just an odd phobia, but im working on it!) Its not red or swollen, but the muscle looks very tight compared to the other. I uploaded a pic. tell me what u think! http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e307/vedabug54/IMG_2299.jpg

It sounds like a leg cramp. How much water do you drink? How much water did you drink the night before? Leg cramps are caused by not drinking enough water. You should increase your water intake as well as increasing salt, magnesium, calcium and potassium.
