Am I going to get caught filling this vicodin perscription?
My mother was perscribed vicodin for an injury a while ago. She doesn't need them anymore, but she has the empty bottle lying around (I think she forgot about it). I looked on the bottle and it says that she has a refill on it, but I know she's never going to get it.
If I called the pharmacy and gave them the RX # for the refill, am I going to get caught somehow in someway. I'm perscribed ambien myself and when I get the refills it seems like an easy and anonymous process, does it work the same for vicodin? Will she receive a bill from the insurance company?
Vicodin is different than ambien, Vicodin is a narcotic pain reliever. It is FDA law that requires anyone to show their i.d. when they pick up a prescription. Becareful.

You won't get caught, they fill scripts for that stuff like they sell candy. If it was something like oxycontin or methadone I would worry but not vicodin that stuffs pretty wimpy.
Just be careful with the opiates, that's how I started and eventually got hooked on OC's which led to heroine IV use, after 2 years going to the methadone clinic everyday I eventually got off everything. Trust me that's a road you really don't want to go down, I lost a lot of friends to that crap.
Maybe you should just leave it alone.
