Question about zoloft?
i cant concentrate with zoloft how long does this last???

Shazza
I also am a Zoloft patient. This time I have been on them for 4 months. Previously almost 6 years. I had no side affects at all, but any you do have should be reported to your GP. It supposedly takes up to 14 days to completely take effect. How long have you been on them & what strength are you taking & what time of the day are you taking them?

furry_nurse
You may become acclimated to the effects soon; until then use caution when driving or performing hazardous tasks. Whatever you do, don't drink alcohol, or stop taking the drug suddenly. Make sure you keep your doctor informed of any symptoms you have, especially if you feel more depressed or even suicidal.

broken_angel_in_texas
When you first start any medication you are likely to experience side effects from it. This is because your system has to have time to adjust to the medication. Once your system adjusts to the medication, the side effects usually go away completely or lessen to some extent. It can last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. I am a Zoloft user and have been for over a year. I am very pleased with my treatment while on Zoloft compared to other meds..

knicname
It's hard to tell whether the inability to concentrate is caused by the zoloft or what your taking Zoloft for: Depression; OCD; ADD. Most side effects wear off in 2-3 weeks as your body acclimates to the medication. If it is really bothering you, call your MD. He might change dose or time you take meds. Good Luck
