I think models take speed or cocaine because it keeps them cheerful and active. My friend took it and she couldn't sleep at night, then it turned her mental. You could also be arrested for having drugs and you don't know what they're mixed with. It's probably our society that's to blame, by telling young girls that to be worthy they need to be a boring and dumb orange stick insect to attract a dumb footballer boyfriend. It sounds shame at your age. Why not take up an active hobby or sport? I try to eat healthy and make healthy tasty meals and I go to the gym and do karate. Your diet might not be in your control, but you can easy lose the weight by doing something active. I'm not skinny as I'm a UK size 12, but I feel great and look good. Your worth isn't just about how you look. Being interesting and having a nice personality goes a long way too. Why not take up a course to help you gain some more self worth? |

it depends if you call a fatal heart attack dangerous, the best way to lose extra fat is by exercise, and cut down you soft drinks to little or nothing, eat less bread, (pizza) and walk everyday at least a mile or two, and in a months time you will be surprised at how much you lost, don't ever take pills for weight loss, it is extremely dangerous, good luck. |

Don't take it. It could cause damage to your heart. Find a healthy, sensible way to lose the extra weight.
And yes, others will know you're on something.... |

They would absolutely suss you. Lots of tell tale signs that you can't control. It's really not worth it. If you get yourself an addiction you'll have a SERIOUS problem. Messes up your health pretty bad. And your mind.
Watch your diet and stay active. That's the best way. Losing weight with speed is only temporary and you can gain a lot more than you lost - real quick.
Good luck. |

Don't start a new bad habit to help with a current problem. Healthy weight loss takes time. You don't want to lose weight fast because it will come back and possibly be even more weight. You shouldn't take any drug. Think about this....if you take speed to try to speed up your metabolism to lose weight, what's going to happen to your body after you stop taking the speed??? People around you can tell if you are on some type of drugs because you will act differently. If your parents are around you at all, they will notice a difference in your appearance and behavior. Don't do it. |

First and foremost, if it's not prescribed to you, IT'S ILLEGAL. If you abuse or misuse them, IT'LL KILL YOU. But to answer your question, yep. But so will ephedrine and DNP, which are also illegal and dangerous if you are not educated about the drug.
I've used ephedrine (which is similar to speed) before they were illegal and lost a tremendous amount of weight. I felt healthy and very energetic. I was working the graveyard shift in law enforcement at the time. I would leave work every morning, take them with coffee as I drove to the gym, work out for 2 hours (1 hour cardio/1 hour weights), and then go straight to my part time job at a drug store, which often consisted of unloading the supply trucks. I worked my p/t job for 3-6 hours before going home to rest up for my graveyard job all over again. Despite my energetic lifestyle using ephedrine, many others had died from its use because it elevates the heart rate, raises the blood pressure, and if you have any defects in your heart, kidney, liver, or respiratory system or pregnant/nursing (females only of course), it becomes extremely dangerous.
While it did great for me (and many products used to use its herbal form in the ingredients), I have never nor would ever recommend it to anyone who I am not completely familiar with, particularly their medical background. The funny thing is that it was a very small 25 mg. pill (called mini thins) that packed a mean punch.
NOTE: You may still find them sold at gas stations and 7-11 stores but those aren't the same ones. Those are legal and of lesser potency, despite the fact that it is 25 mg. They usually have another substance added, which lessens the "kick" and fatloss affect. The original ephedrines (illegal ones) were actually ephedrine hcl. |

You know it is or you wouldn't be asking the question. It only makes you lose weight by making you ill - a dose of flu has the same effect. You dehydrate and get thinner. As soon as you recover, the weight goes back on. |

Its the first step to becoming a 'druggie', don't,
you stay off that ladder and its downward one at that.
Do long walks, short runs, sit ups and eat sensibly. |

The best way to lose weight is to work out. It's hard to get into it, but once you do, you'll feel better.
Speed IS dangerous. Any hard drug is. Not the right way to lose weight, too.
The effects are that it keeps you awake for a lil and makes you not hungry. But then, during the "comedown", you feel tired for a long time, might even get depressed, and you get agressive and anxious and such. And plus, speed is additive. I honnestly wouldn't recommend you to take speed to lose weight. I mean, you would, but you would mess yourself up more than anything else! Just work out and eat healthy and there you go! You'll lose weight and it'll last :) |

Quick fixes never work. You could take it & lose a bit of weight but unless you plan to take it all your life your wasting your time. In fact as soon as you stop it you will gain more weight & end up heavier than when you stated. If you take speed for any length of time you are going to damage your health. Why dont you join a gym instead, its cheaper & great for your mental health as well as your physical health, whereas speed will make you paranoid & drawn |

yes. you can totalllly tell when someone is on speed and yes it is definitely dangerous. i dont recommend it. theres other, more safe ways to lose weight. excercise, eat salads, etc. dont take drugs- its stupid. then you'll get addicted and have even more of a problem than just losing weight- you'll be an addict. think smart. |

Yes, it can cause your heart to race. In some people, this causes a heart arrhythmia (misbeating) and can cause death. |
