Which of the following is most ridiculous?
1. That water has a memory

2. That caffeine cures insomnia, because it causes insomnia

3. That diluting something makes it stronger

For homeopathy to work, the above three statements have to be true...

All of them.

2 and 3 are true in some cases if your definition of "stronger" means "more effective". Number one is ridiculous. Some homeopathy is a little off. So is some conventional medicine. There are some great things in both systems also.

They're all ridiculous. As is homeopathy (which is just expensive water).

All 3 are ridiculous ! So is the basis of homeopathy. Too bad there are so many naive, desperate and/or medically ignorant people out there.

They are all ridiculous but when all three are applied at one time then it goes beyond ridiculous.

My water remembered that I hate drinking water but love wading water but that is water under the dam.

Caffeine cures my insomnia but now I am too awake to care

Caffeine and sugar are very quickly metabolized, especially on an empty stomach, so they can give you an energy surge followed by an energy dump. I

This is similar to specialization.
A specialist knows more and more about less and less till he knows all about nothing.

A practice that violates Avagadro's number and the indivisibility of a single molecule is just untenable.

The question and answers indicate a poor understanding of both homeopathic principles and of current research.

Multiple studies, published in well-known, peer-reviewed journals, prove without ANY doubt, that homeopathic treatment is effective. Links to some of these studies can be found at this site.

http://www.homeopathic.org/research.htm

Those who will not look at the research - but only base their conclusions on preconceived notions - have no grounds to speak on the subject. The world was once flat, you know - or so the mainstream insisted.

We are in the midst of paradigm change. In part, it must be recognized that allopathic (mainstream American) medicine is based on a dualistic philosophy, and physics 100's of years old. Newtonian physics was proven to be incomplete by Einstein, Bohr, and others over 50 years ago. We continuously incorporate quantum theories in our science and lives, yet American medicine lags behind, despite being ineffective or in denial in many cases (diabetes, cancer, arthritis, stroke, heart disease, low back pain, chronic headaches, etc. etc. etc.).

As well, it is to be noted that the American Medical Association has been previously found guilty of conspiracy against alternative medicine - as in the case of 1987 against chiropractic.

The world is changing, people. Are you a Galileo - or one of the sheep?

That water has a memory

What's ridiculous is that you haven't researched the work of Masaru Emoto, he has irrefutable evidence that water does retain information. What's even more interesting is that human consciousness or more precise ''focused intent'' good or bad changes the water molecule to the most beautiful snowflake like architectures with loving intention or a deformed ugly water molecule with a hateful negative intention. I would also highly recommend you research Lynn Mctaggart and here research/experiments on intention and consciousness and how ''mind'' does have an effect at the sub atomic quantum level, it just so happens that water is one of the best receptors of intention, that's why water can change so quickly to heal or kill. It's the same thing with the placebo or what people never here about is the nocebo. The only reason why the placebo or nocebo works is because our body is over 75% water and our blood is over 95% water, and water is one of the best receiver's of intention there is, the only way for a placebo or nocebo to work is for water to retain information of what the mind gives it. All of the worlds medical establishment recognizes the placebo effect, so it is an absolute fact that water holds memory and retains information.
