im sun burned right now and i dont feel weak.get yourself some vitamins

Mary
the sun drains out energy from you but idk why lol

Faith
The heat drains us I think being unused to it.
We in Ireland complain about all the rain then get a few days of sunshine and we are Too hot and can't sleep and so many people are suffering from sunburn .
haha. never happy.

dardar
I dont think it is from the sunburn..but more like, swimming, playing in the waves, and being outdoors in the sun, makes you a little dehydrated, therefore you want to sleep...like a "red" little baby.

yeah, that happens to me whenever i go to the beach lol.

Freya
because you are dehydrated and you body is thristy and it replenishes it self when you sleep.

FB Addict
I'm guessing because the heat is draining and dehydration could be a factor as well.

Because all of the water is zapped out of your body. It's the same as being dehydrated. If you don't have enough water in your body, your body gets listless.

You may be dehydrated and experiencing fatigue.

"Symptoms
Sunburns cause pain, redness, swelling and occasional blistering. When a large area has been exposed, a sunburn can cause headache, fever, nausea and fatigue."

I have no idea but the sun really does take it out of you.

Careful it's not sun stroke though.

:)

It takes up our energy. Your body is naturally going to go into defense mode and try to heal you. When that happens you get tired. I am an old time lifeguard at a state park so this is something all of us need to be aware of. First off...the sun makes you tired because it dehydrates your body....that means it reduces the amount of fluid in your body...so you feel tired because your dehydrated. All you need to do is drink lots of water while in the sun or doing activities in the sun. When out bodies get dehydrated we feel very tired and lathargic. Just drink lots of water when in the sun or playing in the outdoors.
