Should I go to a tanning bed for Pityriasis Rosea?
About 3 weeks ago I was diagnosed with Pityriasis Rosea by my dermatoligist. The rash covered basically my entire body beside lower legs and face. She did 4 light treatments on me for 2 minutes at a time over a period of 1 1/2 weeks and the majority of my rash went away. A week later it reappeared on the sides of my rib cage, stomach and upper thighs and is very annoying, itchy and painful in the shower. I don't really want to go back to the derm so I am highly considering going to a tanning salon for a few weeks. Does this sound like an option?

it's definitely worth a try!! Make sure to NOT burn! I'd recomment only going around 7 minutes the first time, and if you don't burn increase it to 8, then to 9 and up to 10. just go a couple times a week for 10 minutes a session and it should help tremendously!
