How long does it take doxycycline to expire?
I have a bottle of doxycycline from october 2009, but it doesn't have an expiration date. I really need to use it, but I have heard that it can make you really ill to take doxycycline after the expiration date. Problem is.... i have no idea when that date is! Help would be great
Your best bet would be call any pharmacy and ask this question. Medications have different lifespans, depending upon the coating on the tablets. Capsules have a shorter lifespan than hard-coated, powder tabs. Ask a pharmacist

when the doctor's prescription date (from the month he says you start till the month you end) ends you really really shouldnt take them bcos there may be side effects. i had these prescribed aswell took them from january till like may and in the whole summer all my acne was clear there was not one spot then after the summer it all came back and its just as bad as it used to be. i was guna take the pills again but i decided not to since they obviously dont work and might make it worse.
