how long after exposure to burning plastic is it harmful?how long do symptoms last?

Are you saying you inhaled smoke from birning plastic? If your still alive and breathing that is always a good sign. If you start to feel short of breath or dizzy go to the ER you may need some Oxygen Otherwise don't worry.
