All of the muscles connected to the hip, the glutes, the tensor fascia latta, the hamstrings and the quadriceps. The quadratus lumborum, which is in the low back, and the abdominal muscles, can also affect the movement of the hip, which in turn can affect the movement of the coxal joint (where the femur rotates).
