Why does the drug Vyvanse (or Aderall) make me feel so good?
the drugs Vyvanse and Aderall (both perscribed btw) make me feel great. I can do the regular things like focus, but i also am much more apt to talk to people that i normally wouldnt. I am excited to have conversations with people, and i am all around much more happier than usual. Is there anything wrong with this? I feel GREAT. do other people have similiar affects?

This happens for everyone that takes it. Usually it will wear down as you begin to gain a tolerance and it won't make you feel as awesome (euphoric), but will still allow you to focus and give you energy. The reason for this is because people with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder have deficient levels of epinephrine and norepinephrine (also known as adrenaline and noradrenaline). These two adrenaline chemicals work by transmitting nerve signals in the brain. Since people with ADHD have deficient amounts of these adrenaline chemicals, nerve signals aren't transmitted as quickly, and leads to the common symptoms of ADHD like lack of focus. When you take Vyvanse (Lisdexamfetamine) or Adderall (Dextroamphetamine and Amphetamine), the active chemicals are released into the blood. In the blood they are converted into the two adrenaline chemicals and taken to the brain, where they help transmit brain signals faster and help prevent ADHD symptoms. **** If you REALLY want to boost the effects of Vyvanse make sure you have ingested plenty of protein, because protein is what extracts the Lisdexamfetamine in the liver. The more protein, the more Lisdexamfetamine that is extracted into the blood... and the better effects you get from the pill! I don't take Adderall, so I don't know as much about it, but I think calcium carbonate (Tums, Rolaids), taken 40-80 minutes before ingesting Adderall, will boost the effects of the Dextroamphetamine and Amphetamine in the pill.

Ur not suppose to take it unless u have ADD. It's suppose to calm you down if you do. If not it will cause the opposite affect. Idk why it does this though.
