Absolutely! You may have water. Its actually good because then you will be hydrated when you go in for the appointment. But remember to drink ONLY water; nothing else.
Yes! That is if you are fasting for a blood test. There are so many tests that you need to fast for i.e Glucose tolerance blood test or some CT scans or endoscopic scans. If you have a doctors request form for such tests they will usually have such preparation info on the flip side of the form. Food is a solid but water is opaque. You can drink water. All the best.
Yes, you can.
usually unless specifically told not to. clear fluids only

Yes it is advisable to , as your body would get depleted and he wouldnt be able to do urine tests otherwise
You have to have some sort of water intake unless you're planning to kill yourself. Water is the one thing our bodies cant live without. If its fasting for an operation, just dont drink too much of it. You fast for operations so that you have little in your stomach because if the anastetic makes you ill you have nothing to bring up and you're less likley to choke on your own vomit.
Hope that helps x
of course !!! but should not drink too much
THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION CAN GO EITHER WAY,IF YOUR GOING TO THE DR. FOR AN EXAM THAT REQUIRES YOU TO BE TOTALLY FREE OF ANY LIQUIDS THEN YOUR ANSWER IS NO OF COURSE,ON THE OTHER HAND IF YOUR DR. VISIT REQUIRES YOU TO BE FREE OF ANY FOOD THEN YOUR ANSWER WOULD BE YES, FOR SAFETY I WOULD PROBABLY GO WITH HAVING NOTHING AT ALL UPON VISITING THE DR. REMEMBER SAFETY IS ALWAYS FIRST.
