how does alzheimer's kill you?
on the technical side, can someone please explain to me how alzheimers actually kills you - I know its got to do with the plaque buildup and something to do with neurons. Is it like your brain cells dying away basically?

While your brain is dying, the rest of your organs are also deteriorating. Most people who have Alzheimer's disease die from a secondary cause such as pneumonia, urinary tract infections, etc. because their body has no reserves to fight infection during the later stages.
