Shyla
Outer corner of lower eyelid swollen...?
Well, about two days ago I noticed that the outer corner of my lower, left eye lid has been bothering me. At first it was just a subtle pain of it there, and I figured I twas just sore...for god knows what reason. As the days went on, it got a bit worse. Whenever I blink it hurts, and it is tender to touch. Today, it's still swollen and just a slight red, and it kinda looks like a little lump. I've never had pink eye or any sort of stye(or whatever that is), so I'm just really curious as to what is going on. Please help?

Sounds like a stye which is exactly as you've described it and it tends to hurt when you blink. I believe it is caused by an infection. Normally I find they go in 24 to 48 hours after they get to the point you describe. There are lotions you can put on but I've never had one that didnt' go of its own accord. Tend not to put my contacts in when I've got one as I like to avoid handling my eyes.
