Ask a professional. Good luck.

These are all standards a doctor uses to diagnose what is going on in your brain. For example a doctor may include information in axis 1 that tells him you need treated for schizophrenia and how bad the problem is. Then he or she will have an idea of what medication and how much to try. Another axis may include information that you have anxiety, or obsessive compulsive disorder. All these things are to help the doctor diagnose and treat your problems. I have all the information on what all these mean but due to health problems I can't remember exactly what everything means and don't have the time to look it up for you but now you have an idea of what all this means. For more info call a health professional or look it up online. Try webmd.com. They have a lot of info and it seems to be very accurate.

They are the different types of mental disorders that people can have.

Wikipedia says:

Axis I: Clinical disorders, including major mental disorders, and learning disorders
Axis II: Personality disorders and mental retardation (although developmental disorders, such as Autism, were coded on Axis II in the previous edition, these disorders are now included on Axis I)
Axis III: Acute medical conditions and physical disorders
Axis IV: Psychosocial and environmental factors contributing to the disorder
Axis V: Global Assessment of Functioning or Children's Global Assessment Scale for children and teens under the age of 18
