Has anyone tried The Holosync Solution by Centerpointe Research Institute?
If so, is it a hoax, or do you receive some benefits?

If you don't know what it is check out www.centerpointe.com

I'm debating whether or not to buy it.

Wandering Monk
I have started the Holosync Solution (Awakening Prologue) for a couple of weeks and it's been a great experience. I feel mentally awake and a bit more focused. A lot of people in the Yahoo Answers forum have been knocking the program because they think it's supposed to make them a Buddha overnight (or within a short period of time). It's like going to church for a while, not following God's Law and then wondering why they didn't get to heaven. The other problem is that they try to download/burn the CDs off the Internet and claim that they don't "see" the results after trying it for weeks or even months. Let me answer these issues in two parts.

1. Let's say you want to run a marathon. Could you just wake up on the day of the race and complete the race (within a relatively competitive time frame) without any previous training? I think not. You would have to stick to a program of training to yield results prior to the race. Same with self-mastery or mastery of any art or skill-it takes training and commitment. In addition, everyone's mental and spiritual growth spurts at different rates so everyone will not experience the same thing or at the same rate. All those years of negative feelings, emotions and behavior take time to heal, contingent on your life experiences (inclusive of trauma). Self-mastery involves a willingness to control oneself through a "vehicle" coupled with dedication. Essentially, you need to listen to the program participants (not only the Centerpointe website but regular folks on the Net using Holosync), like I did, to glean a better understanding.

2. Downloading, ripping or burning the Holosync CDs involve some sort of compression and "shear" the technology. To get the full effect of the program, one has to possess the actual CDs or have the CDA format ripped into WAV, AIFF, FLAC, APE, SHN formats. Peer to Peer sharing usually contain audio files in MP3 or WMA (not in lossless formatting) so the effects have dimished greatly due to compression.

In conclusion, I have reaped great benefit from Holosync. My mom is using the program as well. My research into Binaural Beats, Dr. Gerald Oster and the Monroe Institute (Robert Monroe) led me to Holosync. The real test is to find a Holosync participant that has returned the program for a refund! Besides, if you try an honest attempt at self-mastery with Holosync for at least three to four months and do not like the results, return the program for a full refund-you have a year to get your money back.
