When I wake up in the morning and stretch in bed my calf hurts.?
When I wake up I stretch out (as do many people), but it seams when i stretch out my calf muscle (I extend my legs) my calf seems to pop out of place, becomes unbelievably rigid and hard, and the pain is excruciating. Also, it temporarily paralyzes that leg for the day (hard to walk and impossible to do much else). Can someone help me?
look up plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis....
all you can really do is stretch, heat, and take anti-inflamitories
sometimes if its really bad a doctor will give you a splint/brace to wear at night to keep the tendons from becoming short which causes them to cramp up and hurt.
Cramping happens at times when your body is dehydrated. Try drinking more water. If you drink plenty of water and this continues, I'd seek medical attention.
What you're describing is (a charlie horse) what happens when someone is deficient in calcium, magnesium, and zinc. Find a supplement in any drugstore that includes those 3 items, and take 2 or 3 of them the first day. If you continue taking 1 tablet each day, you'll never again have that problem.
This remedy has helped more than 20 people that I know of.
That's because your muscles need to time adjust since they've been dormant during the time you were sleeping.
