Can a broken nose heal itself in time?
about a year and a half ago or so, i was hit accidentally straight on nose, near the top. At first it swelled quite a bit, and had a bump. I was told by the doctor that it would swell down and i would be fine so she told me not to worry about it. (this was over the phone) at that time i never knew you could go to get it fixed so i let it be. Since then i was REALLY self conscious about the look of my nose. Though people keep noticing and saying they think its MUCH less noticeable. Its been like a year and a half and they are right the bump has gone down a lot that or my nose has grown in such a way the bump was disguised. Im still self conscious about it.. because i think it seems big to me and there is still a bit of a bump. Is it possible for this to happen or is it just us thinking its gone down. Could it fully heal in time? Maybe even have a curve again? Btw.. i know all about rhinoplasty please dont tell me to have this done.. at this time i am not considering it.. maybe later on if its that bad.

It will not fully correct itself with time. It may still get a little better, but after this much time your nose is pretty well done healing. Your doctor should never have given you that information without a consult. Doubt you could sue over it but it still is bad practice.
