I think i have been exposed to mono?
so i was at the bus stop stop today talking to my friend and my neighbor and on of her friends which is not friends with me told us she had mono and she sneezed on me and my friend so i am guessing her saliva went on me. so am i exposed to mono and is friend exposed as well? i think i have some resistance to it because the it's cause by a herpes virus and i have had chickenpox so my chickenpox antibodies could have protected me :) i hope they did because chickenpox is herpes aswell my antobodies my think it's a chickenpox antibody for the mono virus

It's only mono. It's not the end of the world. You'll find out in a few days if/when you start getting the symptoms. If you have mono, just go to your doctor who will prescribe some medication for you and you'll be fine.

Well I suppose so but you have to understand that mono is a very mildly contagious disease and is often seen in isolated cases. Good grief, mono is caused by the Epstein Barr virus, has nothing to do with any of the herpes strains.
