Why am I having a low grade fever 3 weeks after knee surgery?
I had ortoscopic knee surgery.

A follow-up visit with your physician would be a good idea. I suspect a minor infection from what you describe. 3 weeks post-op is still fairly early in the healing process, but if fever worsens or other symptoms appear call your doctor. Life-threatening sepsis could develop if proper treatment isn't timely.

Low grade fever is more than likely caused by an infection setting in. Contact your doctor immediately. This could mean trouble if not taken care of right away

From experience, I would think it is because your body is trying to heal from the surgery. But I would really suggest going to your surgeon and seeing what he has to say. ;)

Call your doctor, please.
