Ive been a diabetic for over 10 years and the last year or so it seems i have some random days where my blood sugar keeps dropping. I am not over dosing, and keep snacking. Last night I woke up ...
Aviva Accu-Chek | E-1 Error Code?
I keep getting an error message that says E-1, and I'm not sure what it means. Does anyone know? (NOTE TO ANNIE: The Aviva Accu-ChekĀ® DOES give an 'E-1' error code. Yours may not and it is not mentioned in the manual, but mine does! A great, big 'E', a great big '-' and a great big '1'; all flashing!) This has been an intermittent problem since new. Needless to say, I am far from impressed and once my expensive test strips are gone, the Aviva Accu-JUNKĀ® glucose meter will be too!
I have tried removing and reinstalling the code chip and the battery. Still the same thing; 'E-1'.
Thank you for your quick answer. I will try calling the manufacturer on Monday.
In the past I've worked with Diabetes Society of the Santa Clara Valley as their Outreach Chairman for about 3 years. I've had Type 1 Diabetes since 1974.
I had issues with meters in the past. If you call Accu-Chek they will resolve your issue and send you a new meter if necessary. They will replace your test strips also,
you need a new meter i have that one tow and it sed if i git the same err cod all the time to git a new one
did you put in the code?.. there is a code number on the test strip bottle its usually C25, if you did and it is still doing that i would call the manufacturer and tell them whats wrong and they may send you another one if that one is still all outta wack
Wish you luck
