Would I still get cavities by eating candy but brushing my teeth after?
You know. It was just Halloween and I got a lot of candy I really want to eat, but I don't want any cavities. So, if I eat candy and brush my teeth thoroughly after, would I still get cavities? D:

From recommendation from my dentist. He said that anytime I eat candy, I need to brush my teeth immediately afterwards or as soon as possible. Can you imagine having sugar sitting on your teeth for 8 hours before you get home and go to bed. Doing this one time may not hurt your teeth, but if you did this consistently, over time the sugar is going to eat through your teeth and a cavity will start to form. Be on the safe side and brush immediately afterwards.

you can have as much candy as you want but make sure you brush your teeth before you go to bed and in the morning!

You can eat as much candy as you want as long as you remember to brush your teeth and floss before you go to bed, and brush your teeth every morning. Usually cavities are as a result of genetic vulnerability rather than candy intake. In layman's yes, eat as much as you like, just keep a steady routine for tooth care.
