Hi Mimi, I have no personal experience with salt lamps for allergy/sinus problems. As an intensive care unit nurse I (or I can say, "we Nurses") often give saline nebulisers to patients who have problem clearing up their lungs after surgery. It worked better than sterile water nebulisers. This is an indirect answer to your problem. However, based on my observations it should work.
