Does Pseudoephedrine make you tired or keep you up?

I found if I took Pseudoephedrine in the evening, I'd wake up sometime after midnight and not be able to get back to sleep. But I can take it anytime before about dinnertime with no sleep effects.

I usually take the generic equivalent of benadryl at bedtime. It helps with the allergies *and* sleeping.

It usually keeps you up....but some people-like my sister-it affects differently. She can't stay awake on it. Me on the other hand, am wide awake.
