Captain Troll
Does taking a warm bath help U relax?

Additional Details
Then go for it sweet

hellnocutco
No. baths are basically wading around in your own filth, and that is gross.

Only in the early evening. If you take a hot bath just before you go to bed, it might keep you from going to sleep.

Yes, I find it very relaxing. But don't stay in the hot water too long or else it might make you feel gross.

It not only helps you relax but it takes a lot of stress away. Throw some bubbles or bath salts in and think about comforting things. Think about sitting on the beach with your eyes closed and listening to the ocean, lying on a bed of clouds with nothing around. Try it!

i dont know i should try one and see if ti helps.

Yes it does. I love bubble baths and I amke sure I take a gossip magazine in there with me and by the time I have finished reading how pathetic some people can be my whole world looks a hell of alot better

Yes it does. You should also add some candles and aroma therapy.

lifesaclassroom
a warm bath even calms a crying baby and helps him/her sleep so of course it relaxes. I actually take a shower every morning before I leave my house but will often times come home to take a hot bath just for the purpose of relaxing if time permits and I need a lil extra quiet time to unwind from an especially stressful day. try it, it does a body good :)

US_DR_JD
Most people are able to relax and studies have found that soaking in water, unless extreme in temperature, will aid in relaxation techniques, like guided imagery, and biofeedback.

I use baths to relax all the time and find I can decrease head and other pain perception during a bath.

denimcap
Yeah. Something about the warmth that relaxes you...plus the water. Being in water is relaxing, the way it moves with you. The best advice though would be your own, from experience.

Dunno, I always shower. But a hot shower is relaxing to me. I suppose it'd be the same affect with a bath.

scrappin1980
Only if it is accompanied with a glass of wine, candle light and a good book. I only take baths if I am clean and the tub is always cleaned before I get in it.

Jenster
YES! And throw in some bath salts or just epson salt to relax muscles and ease aches.

Yes, it certainly can help. You can try some aroma therapy or episom salts in the bath that can help make it an extra relaxing experience.

Yes, it does. But I prefer a HOT-TUB (SPA) or my POOL which I keep about 94 to 96F, depending on time of year! It relaxes my husband's muscles after his extremely hard work days!!! And helps me relax my spine & derriere muscles from sciatic pain from injures (life-long PERMANENT) i RECIEVED from A PUNK, drunk, DRIVER 9 YEARS AGO ( who calls himself Capt. Traye Cooke in SW FLA)!!! hE HAS REPEATEDLY INJURED OTHER INNOCENT PEOPLE WITH HIS drunk driving, YET he still roams our roads WAITING TO kill & maim your loved ones or you !!!!
