I've heard that it's the safest. It's made from real sugar.
This website will help. I won't cop and paste it, because that would be cheating. The columns you may want to read are in bold.

NO BUT CHEEBA DOES!
No it causes cancer i herd..
yes it does
i can tell by the question you just asked, that you ate about 3 cups full today
if splenda can kill rats then it can kill brain cells
The truth is that Splenda is relatively new to the market of diet sweeteners. So, they really don't know the long term effects of it yet. That is what makes it scary. So, until they know for sure what it does and doesn't do to humans, you probably shouldn't digest a ton of it.
It may do more than just kill brain cells....then again, who knows for sure this early in the game?
If you want to use anything, I heard Stevia is the best. It's supposed to be all natural and it's been around for a while. At least a lot longer than Splenda.
Maggie ja Biełaruś
Probably - and like Nutrasweet... Splenda probably causes seizures, blackouts, weight gain and more
I ben uzen spelna my hole lief.
My brian sells iz just fien.
Everything kills brain cells. Stop worrying and start living! Note: This statement is not meant to condone drug and/or alcohol abuse.
Not so much as snorting fumes and drowning. I drowneded one time.
I have not heard anything about Sucralose, the chemical name for Splenda, killing brain cells. However, it has been linked to causing migraines. Furthermore, a research journal, Journal of Mutation Researched has linked high doses of sucralose to "DNA damage in mice." So, to answer your question, even though the FDA hasn't explicitly stated that it might cause brain damage, it's linked with enough other strange problems to arouse suspicion and suggest that it probably does over a long period of time.
anything fake can not be good for the body
hahaha, why, do you have a shortage of them or something?
Ben the Atheist
No clue, but to use anything besides REAL SUGAR, u gotta be deranged.
Yes it does.
I like to say sucralose, not Splenda, because that is what Splenda is. And it is in a lot of stuff. The package doesn't have to say Splenda to have sucralose in it. You have to read labels. So, you might still be using it and don't even know it!
A lot of people, including myself, have gotten/are getting sick from it.
Sucralose is poison. It ruined five years of my life. I had a laundry list of medical problems while taking it. I went to several doctors. I had a dozen different tests. I was told that I had a number of different problems. I was on different medication for many years.
The slogan, "Made from sugar..." is very misleading. Splenda might be made from sugar, but it is far from sugar. The resulting chemical is an organochloride (chlorocarbon). Organochlorides are typically poisons.
carbon monoxide - made from oxygen so its like a breath of fresh air.
